As Chief Administrative Officer and Vice President, I handle business operations, legal/HR foundations, marketing strategy, and finance. My co-founder leads product development and academic content.

Kohoutek House LLC is my residential real estate investment entity. I own and manage rental properties in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Real estate is a long game. I focus on properties in growing markets, prioritize cash flow over speculation, and treat tenants like the customers they are. A well-maintained property with a happy tenant is worth more than a neglected one with constant turnover.
Scottsdale is one of the most desirable markets in Arizona — high demand, quality tenants, strong appreciation. Population growth drives housing demand. Housing demand drives rental income. It's not complicated — but execution matters.
I manage properties directly rather than outsourcing to property management companies. This keeps costs low, maintains quality control, and gives me direct relationships with tenants. The HR background helps — managing tenant relationships is just another form of people management.
